Where are Lalafell from?

Ffxiv story

Although this does not necessarily have to influence too much in the end-game, since the difference is not too noticeable (a 0.5% difference maximum), plus throughout the game you can customize the characteristics by adding the one that interests you the most, so you can choose the one you want. The Dunesfolk for their characteristics would be appropriate to be Arcanist / Scholar / Summoner. In the case of the Plainsfolk we find another set of characteristics that does not particularly favor any particular class, perhaps the Archer / Bard due to its DXT of 22.

Similar in appearance to dwarven races such as the tarutaru from Final Fantasy XI or the liltis from Crystal Chronicles, they are a diminutive people in comparison to the other races and with a childlike countenance, making it difficult to guess the exact age of a lalafell individual.

The lalafell were originally an agricultural people who inhabited the fertile islands of the southern seas, reaching Eorzea by the sea trade routes. Today they are one of the most populous races and are well established on the mainland, although they remain adverse to cold climates.

Dunesfolk can be found in the dry deserts of Thanalan and other equally arid areas. As founders of the merchant city of Ul’dah, they are famous for their obsession with trade. Their natural inclination to turn ideas into deeds has helped the Dunesfolk in their trade dealings.

Unlike their counterparts in the source world, the dwarves prefer to live isolated in villages, and their culture causes them to hide their faces with dark helmets and beard-like scarves, considering the removal of their helmets in front of anyone outside of kin or near kin a sacrilege punishable by exile.

Final Fantasy XIV has become one of the most popular MMORPGs today, even temporarily out of print due to demand. With the fourth expansion pack, Endwalker, released in November, there has never been a better time to play. And while Final Fantasy XIV might be one of the most accessible MMORPGs, players are on their own for what might be the most difficult decision in the game: character customization! Like any good MMORPG, there are many different races available for players to modify their character to their liking. To make it easier for you to decide, we’ve put together a list of all the races in Final Fantasy XIV.

The Midlander clan comprises more than half of the total Hyur population of Eorzea. While the name derives from the clan’s long tradition of settling in low-lying areas, Midlanders actually hail from a wide variety of ancestral lands.

The Miqo’te are, in short, the cat people of Final Fantasy XIV, easily recognizable by their large, protruding ears and restless feline tails. Instinctive territoriality leads many of them to lead solitary lifestyles. They often live their lives in the Sargolii desert.

If anyone knows Final Fantasy XIV like the back of his hand, it’s Naoki Yoshida, the game’s producer and director. To celebrate the MMO’s anniversary, he wanted to issue an invitation for you to join him and the millions of players already enjoying the multiplayer RPG.

Yoshida-san, FFXIV is continually expanding, which means it’s easy to forget the feeling of taking the first steps into the adventure. It can also be difficult to contemplate the game from a new player’s perspective when you’re heavily involved in the development process.
